Our Saint Michael School Family extends our very sincere congratulations to Father Byrnes on the 25th Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination! We thank you for your service to the Lord and His Church. May God continue to bless you as you continue your vocational journey!
Congratulations to our Multi –Media Team for placing FIRST at the Diocesan Competition that was held on Tuesday, November 5th at Holy Trinity. We thank Ms. Driskel for preparing our team and Austin Gray, Briette Hite, and Brenna Phister for putting forth their very best efforts representing Saint Michael School.
Our 3rd & 4th grade students will participate in science activities at the Saint Francis University Library on Monday, November 18th. We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Renee Hoffman, Education Librarian, for planning this educational opportunity for our students.
We will be sponsoring a Dress Down Day in our Christ is RICH in ME t-shirts for $1.00 or more to benefit the Fulton County Mission Christmas Fund Drive on Wednesday, November 20th. We thank our families in advance for their generosity.
The Intermediate Unit 08 Elementary Reading Competition will be held on Thursday, November 21st at The Bellwood-Antis Middle/High School. Our elementary team includes the following members: Tommy Corcoran, Allie Dziabo, Hannah McMahon, Alivia Nagle, Alena Nagle, John Seymour, Colin Beiswenger, Belle Eckenrode, Molly Itle, Alex Krug, Vincent Seymour, Liam Statler, and Lily Strait. We thank Mrs. Becky Seymour and Mrs. Rachel Beiswenger for preparing our team for the competition. We wish them the best of luck!
We will be celebrating Mass as a school family on Friday, November 22nd. Fifth grade will be assisting with the ministries. All are welcome to join us.
Our Diversity Club, under the advisement of Mrs. Dietrich, will participate in Student Day #2 on Saturday, November 23rd. Students will visit various places of worship and then gather at the Devorris Center to discuss similarities and differences among the religions. Registration is at 8:30am.
The eighth-grade class will be sponsoring an Advent fruit basket service project to reach out to those in need, the sick, elderly, and homebound members of our parish and school community. We are asking your help by providing us with names of individuals so that we can be a blessing to them during the Christmas season. Fruit baskets will be delivered on Wednesday, December 11th . Please phone the school office @ 472-9117 with the names and addresses of anyone you feel would enjoy a visit from our students. Thank you for your assistance!
The children’s choir will sing at the 10am Mass on Sunday, November 24th. Members are asked to be there by 9:45am.
A special “thank you” to all our parishioners who contribute to the support of our school through the weekly collection. Your donations are greatly appreciated, and we are thankful for your support of Catholic education. Thank you for being a blessing to our students
Get a head start on your Christmas shopping! Gift cards from numerous retailers, restaurants, and grocery stores can be purchased daily from our school office and at the Firemen’s monthly breakfast. If you have any questions about our gift card program, please call the school office @ 472-9117.
